Hi Fellow Quilter's,
It's flannel quilt weather for sure. Flannel sure does feel good on a cold evening no matter if you are little, middle sized or big. Remember all the years we wore flannel nighties and flannel jammies to bed. Now we have flannel sheets, pillowcases and quilts and love them all!

Jo Morton, Renee Nanneman, Barbara Brackman are all digging in to the textile archives and finding color! Civil War Chronicles by Judie Rothermel for Marcus brings us some beautiful color prints.

Remember We are taking a little time off so we will be closed the following days:
Mon. Tues and Wed. January 30,31 and February 1
Mon. Tues. Wed. February 6,7 and 8.
No Quilters Gathering in February or March, we will see you on April 14 at 9AM
Applique with us! February 18th 9AM Block of the month. Applique is hand or machine work that is fun to do, very portable and lets you be creative in putting colors and fabrics together. Add a little embroidery, some beading, the sky is the limit! We are sure to add some dimensional work too!

Tip of the Week-

Dry hands and dry thread go together. Be sure to moisturize your hands and your thread. Cream for your hands a humidifier for your thread.
