Our charm scarf has been a hit. You can make one in a half hour. Flannel on one side and a batik charm pack on the other. We are really enjoying seeing you come in with your scarves on!

Tip of the week

Our friends, Marion and Dawn from Schenectady are hooked on our flannel and of course making flannel quilts makes scraps. We suggested that they cut their scraps into 9" squares and make rag quilts! Sound like a good idea to you? It will get rid of your scraps and make wonderful cozy quilts. Clipping can be testy so try , Olfa scissors, to clip your seams. They are the best. We'll keep you posted on Marion and Dawns quilts!

Hi Fellow Quilters,
The groundhog didn't see his shadow so Spring is just 6 weeks away. We can live with that don't you think? Bright colored fabrics are arriving daily and it is making us think Spring. If you lived through the 60's and 70's you will think some of the "new" colors are a hoot. Might even want to get your wool adler socks and Spaulding saddle shoes out!!

 Basics how we need basics!

Don't forget basics and we don't mean muslin! A little print, a little shading and glorious color all put together make a basic. Good for backgrounds, sashing and as a plain with a fabulous print.
